![]() These serious issues must be addressed for the mainstream adoption of Ethereum as a sustainable and enjoyable platform to build applications. So the valuation top from our calculations is 55 cent per token.Want to jump straight to the answer? You can buy Optimism on Coinbase.ĭespite being the leading blockchain for building decentralized applications (dApps), Ethereum is painfully slow, gas fees are too high when the network is busy, and it's expensive to store data on Ethereum. Where the overall chances of success are concerned, the top would be 25% considering there are four prominent L2s, while realistically we’d give it 5%. Still, 10 cent to 50 cent is probably a good hodl regardless of bull or bear either as a speculative investment in regards to the chances of succeeding in the second layers race or just for diversifying.Īnything above is probably temporary, though knowing these things it probably will hit $1 if we have done our napkin maths correctly, and then it depends what their strategy is with that 9% but depending on hype factors, eventually it should give way to the base. On the other hand you have to account for competition, the apparent lack of focus on growth going by the criteria for this distribution, and by wider market factors. The current revenue is penny stock, but that can change quickly if they somehow launch yield farming with that 9%, or protocol improvements lead to greater adoption. You have to account for some speculation. There’s no data currently on how much is circulating, but this 5% airdrop amounts to probably 150 million tokens considering some won’t claim, and if we limit it to just circulating, then about a dollar per token. We time this $25 million by ten and then we have to time it by 0.05 which gives us $12 million, or about ten cent per token. So that would be an income of $348 rather than $350 for 1,000 transactions. We’ll ignore the costs, here being the on-chain fee they have to pay to eth miners and soon stakers, currently about $2 per (usually for L2s) 1,000 transactions. ![]() That’s fairly decent, but it amounts to $25 million a year. In theory its value should come from fees as that’s the only revenue for the project, with its nature being one that requires very high transaction volumes and very low fees.Ĭurrently Optimism charges 35 cent per transaction, totaling $70,000 a day. The token as you might expect is for the usual governance with two governance houses here, one being that of the token holders. Making this the Obsessed Airdrop and in usage, a fairly rare species especially when onchain fees northed $300.įor other airdrops, we’d suggest less obsession with farmers and more focus into turning casuals into loyals, or even turning new users into casuals as that’s where growth will come from. ![]() While the priced out of eth in some ways doesn’t make much sense unless again one wants to completely ignore the vast majority which doesn’t make an eth transaction every single month unless they’re defi traders. In addition, the first two criteria are sort of the same as they basically fall into extremely loyal users in as far as only those would have known this project existed a year ago and ordinary loyal users are covered by the second criteria. On the other hand you want to keep out airdrop farmers, but it shouldn’t be too hard to check whether an eth address is genuine considering it’s all public, and you don’t want to punish users more than farmers as it has clearly been done here. The general aim presumably would be to bootstrap, attract liquidity, and also genuinely reward users so that they feel good about your project. Raising the question as to what exactly did the project try to achieve with this airdrop. There are some $700 million worth of 230,000 eth currently in Optimism, compared to just ◊20,000 in June 2021 when no one even knew it existed as second layers came to attention only after Arbitrum attracted a billion in assets a couple of months after that June 2021. ![]() These extremely stringent requirements are softened by the project stating there will be more airdrops.ġ4% of the total supply, or circa 600 million tokens, will be given to users with 9% still left, or about 400 million.Īnyone that transacted after a year ago therefore, will have to wait and see whether this project decides to reward its casual users. Themes of isolation and psychological manipulation are rampant, but one of the most present themes is tenderness. ![]() ![]() Those Who Prey focuses on Emily, but it also allows readers to see the big picture the Kingdom is a pyramid, with abuse running all the way down. There are villains in this story, yes, but they were also victims. One of the great things about this debut novel is that almost no character is one-dimensional. Cult documentaries are rarely tame, often causing viewers to ask, “That couldn’t have happened – could it?” The plot spins out of control near the end, leaning almost into campy territory because of that, Those Who Prey feels real. These terms eerily mirror the events of the chapters themselves, sending shivers down spines. For example, “love bombing” is the use of care and attention to influence someone, creating a deep bond between the manipulator and their victim. Emily had never realized how much she needed her friends until she moved away from them, and that void isn’t easy to fill.Įach chapter of the book begins with either a recruitment step of the Kingdom, or a common term for tactics most cults use. Those Who Prey perfectly captures, beyond the nature of cults and the isolation of pre-cellphone eras, the desperation of being alone. By the time they ask her to join their bible study, Emily has become attached. If you’ve ever made a friend like this, you know the feeling is exhilarating.Įventually, he brings her into his group: Heather, who is upbeat and sharp, and Andrew, shy and good-natured. He instantly takes an interest in what she’s reading, what her classes are like, and what she thinks about. The reader quickly understands that Emily is prey, and she doesn’t realize it.Ī fellow college student named Josh introduces himself while she’s at a coffee shop. She’s a good person who just wants to find her people. If you’ve been to college before, you can understand her. She’s haunted by a traumatic childhood event, and feels disconnected from her father and the rest of her family. Set during the mid-1990’s, Those Who Prey follows a lone figure: an out-of-state college student named Emily set adrift in Boston, with no friends or good support system. The Kingdom’s practices become increasingly manipulative and dangerous.Īt times unsettling and always riveting, Those Who Prey looks at the allure of cult life, while questioning just how far we’re willing to go to find where we belong. They’re cut off from their families back home. Emily and the others are stripped of their passports and money. But the trip is not what she thought it would be. The Kingdom, an exclusive on-campus group, offers everything Emily expected of college and more: acceptance, friends, a potential boyfriend, and a chance to spend the summer in Italy on a mission trip. Instead, she walks the campus alone, still not having found her place or her people so far away from home. She expected to spend freshman year strolling through the ivy-covered campus with new friends, finally feeling like she belonged. In Those Who Prey, Jennifer Moffett spins a web of mounting dread as you follow the protagonist into a growing Christian organization that quickly turns deadly. ![]() ![]() These extraction processes are environmentally-friendly, efficient, and produce uncontaminated extracts designed for purity and safety. If you want to build it's more fun builds focus on crimson's and traps as the deck does get a fun break ride build at some point. ![]() I do not recommend this deck to meta chasers right now but if you want to prepare for when it's kinda meta then start by getting just traps and luquier's as those will be used in the silver thorn build with out a doubt. Pale moon vanguard free#You will also need three Alice's however don't craft them as they are most likely going to be free from ranked.Īn important thing to note is while pale moon will always be simi to very expensive it will not be a true meta deck until silver thorns are released and even then they sit at a mid to low teir 1. The final point I will make on the subject of pale moon and it's future is what is need from set 3 to prep for set 6 and what isn't.ĭepending on if you play dreamy or not will determine if you want to craft/ pick up four crimson beast tamers, you will need four to three traps, if building from stratch get three and then focus on your four luquiers. So in total to future proof your pale moon deck you must have 4 luquier, 3 traps and 3 Alice's if you are looking to play pale moons stronger future builds aka silver thorn. Another important thing to note about trap is while she'll be ran in the future with silver thorns, she won't be a four of in those builds most likely due to a silver thorn specific trap being released. Some builds do run four traps however she will be searchable as of set 6 so that makes four of her less needed, unless you play dreamy in which case you need four due to most of your searches going to dreamy. You will need min of 3 trap 3 Alice and 4 luquier. Wether or not you want dreamy, luquier, Trappist, and Alice are must haves. ( Quick note if you still like dreamy builds/ just so happen to pull all four, I could definitely see him having a spot in the future break ride build of pale moon, however this is speculation.) Tldr if you pull four dreamys great, but don't craft him. Dreamy only helps him self while being in the soul and it's easy for decks with retire, like kagero shadows royals and narukami to run through all your dreamys in a turn leaving you with nothing to fall back on, while the crisons in your soul are always safe tell you need to pull them out. Crimson also pulls double duty in soul as she can power up your grade 1 beast tamer. Ideally you would rather play crimson over dreamy as you only need one copy of her in soul to set up the rest of your crimson beast tamers. ![]() Having to get three copies of it into your soul makes it hard to build up your soul properly in my opinion. ![]() It's a big resources sink both in terms of crafting or pulling it, and in terms of just playing it in general. I personally don't think you ever need to get this card. The big thing I want to talk about is dreamy fortress. I have been seeing alot of post asking about pale moon so, as someone who has main pale moon since they came out in the physical card game and in zero, I wanted to talk about the future of pale moon and what you'll need to play them after luquier comes out in zero. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hence minors can purchase most commercially produced kombucha.
